GOING
VERTICAL®
How can you improve your vertical jump?
As an athlete, can you physically get into the
jumping position with correct posture with even and equal weight
distribution? Are you strong and stable enough to hold this position
for 30 seconds? Do you have strength on one leg when jumping and
landing? Most athletes have muscles that are inhibited (glutes) or have overactive
and tight muscles (hip flexors) that prevent the transference of
power.
This session emphasizes proper jumping and landing
techniques, strength training (turning on those glutes), improving hip
mobility and flexibility, core strengthening and a safe progression of
plyometrics to teach your body how to transfer power.
